Winter Weather, Warm Hearts: Recapping the 2025-26 Frostbite Series

St. Louis winters are famous for their unpredictability, but if this year’s Frostbite Series proved anything, it’s that the St. Louis Track Club community is remarkably steady. On February 7th, we officially crossed the final finish line of the season, marking the end of a series that was as inspiring as it was challenging. With a staggering 2,260 registrations across our five events, the energy remained high from the first start to the final award presentation.
A Series for Every Generation
One of the most beautiful aspects of this year’s series was its reach. Our youngest competitor was just 2 years old, while our oldest participant was 85, proving that a love for the move never fades. Seeing an 83-year age gap on the same course is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do: we aren't just a club; we are a lifelong community.
Navigating the Elements
Leadership often requires making the tough calls, and Race 4 gave us a classic St. Louis challenge. Due to significant snowfall, we made the decision to reschedule for the safety of our runners, volunteers, and staff.
