At the St. Louis Track Club, we believe that the miles you log are only half the story. The rest of the story is the community you build along the way. That’s why we are so thrilled to invite you to our Member Appreciation 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, May 3, 2026!
This year, we’re doing things a little differently. We’ve turned our signature member event into a full-morning celebration at Tower Grove Park that highlights three things we love: sustainability, gratitude, and cooling off in style.
The Swag: Keep Your Cool
We know the St. Louis spring air can heat up quickly, so this year’s participant giveaway is one you’ll actually use all season long. Every 5K runner will receive a custom SLTC cooling towel. Whether you're heading out for a long run or just cooling down after a workout, these towels are the perfect way to beat the heat.
We’re also helping you protect your favorite gear. Every runner will get a set of bib snaps—no more safety pins ruining your expensive technical shirts! Plus, we’ll have LED shoe lights to help keep you safe and visible on those early morning or late evening miles.
The Great Gear Swap & Vintage Vault
Have you been staring at a pair of shoes that didn’t quite fit or a running vest that has been sitting in your closet for two years? It’s time for a refresh!
We are hosting a Community Gear Swap at the Sons of Rest Pavilion. It’s simple: bring your gently used (but still great) running shoes, apparel, and accessories to swap with fellow members. It’s a fantastic, sustainable way to refresh your running wardrobe for free.
While you’re at the swap table, don’t forget to check out our SLTC Vault. We’ve raided the SLTC archives and will have a selection of shirts and swag from past races available to take home — first come, first served! All the gear from the vault is free, but donations are greatly appreciated... we are a non-profit, after all!
Volunteer Appreciation Picnic
Our club wouldn't be where it is today without the dedicated volunteers who show up, rain or shine, to keep our races moving. After the 5K and the 1-Mile Fun Run conclude, we are hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Picnic. We invite all our runners, walkers, and especially our volunteers to stick around for food, drinks, and a chance to celebrate the people who keep our club running strong.

Non-Members:Â Registration is just $30. Better yet, join the club today and your race entry is on us! You'll get discounts on all our other great events, too!
Race Day: Can’t decide until the last minute? No problem! We are happy to accept race day registrations on-site.
