	SLTC Member Ed Wolfgram is featured in the October issue of Runners World, in an article titled "Heart of a Champion".
	The SLTC Volunteer Picnic was held on Wednesday, August 12:
	Email received: “It was with great sadness that I read in Tuesday's Post (July 28) that Don Myers died in a bicycle accident while participating in RAGBRI, a bike ride across Iowa. Don was nice guy, an active participant and good competitor in early Track Club races before moving to Rolla to teach. I, as well as many others, enjoyed running with him and visiting afterward. He will be missed.” Bill Stewart

The current heels path ends at the bridge west of Steinberg rink. From that point the current hard path (in red) will become the heels path all the way to Hampton. A new wheels path (blue) will go on the east side of Jefferson Lake, west on the south side of Clayton, parallel to the heels path to the mounted police station. The wheels path will continue parallel to interstate 64 and then rejoin the heels path through the tunnel under Hampton.”
