Lewis & Clark Trail Clean Up
The Corps of Discovery Race team is hosting a trail clean up at the Lewis and Clark Trail on Sunday May 24th starting at 8:30. All volunteers must sign a waiver and some light food and drinks will be provided. If you would like to come out please bring proper gardening tools, gloves, trash bags and any other items that may be helpful. This will be another way to give back to the trail to keep it beautiful for all users year round. If you have any questions or need directions to the trailhead please email Mike Orrico.
Join Us for the 8th Edition of the Festival of Miles!
“The Saint Louis Track Club Men’s Mile has become a regular stop for some of America’s best milers since 2009 when US Olympian Leo Manzano led three men under the four minute barrier with his 3:55.29. All told, FOM has produced SIXTEEN sub four-minute-miles, making SLUH one of the most famous, and fastest, high school tracks in the country! This year’s race features meet record holder Jordan McNamara back to defend his title against 2012 champ Jack Bolas, 2014 runner-up Tommy Schmitz and a host of sub 4 milers.”

Through the team, the Saint Louis Track Club intends to support local athletic achievement, promote fitness, and expand the club’s involvement in the local running community. Through the development of a team atmosphere in addition to supplement aid when available the team will provide support to competitive area runners.
The Premier consists of highly motivated individuals who both run competitively in local/regional competitions and are also passionate about developing the Greater Saint Louis running community. Through the team, we hope that the many talented runners in the area can come together to represent Saint Louis on a national scale. The team is led by Danny Stults who in a short time has been involved in many facets of Saint Louis running and has previous experience with top-level collegiate programs.
